The ALPHA Course is a 12-week venue that provides an introduction to the Christian Faith on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 pm. If you are new to Hillside Church, this course will provide an opportunity to learn more about Jesus and the Bible. A light dinner and childcare will be provided. Please register on the blue Connection Form if you are interested. Life Group Launch, Sundays, September 7 and 14 Life Groups are the heartbeat of Hillside Church. They provide an open and comfortable atmosphere where you can ask questions about God, the Bible, life and faith, or you can just sit back, listen and grow. They are led by trained and knowledgeable leaders who are friendly and love meeting new people. On these two Sundays, we invite you to check out the different Life Groups at the tables in the back and choose one that is right for your schedule, fits your place in life, or has a topic that sounds interesting to you. On September 14 we’ll have hors devours to celebrate the Life Group Launch for the fall.
Mission Trip Meetings Guatemala Mission Trip - February 5-14, 2009Information meeting TODAY after the service We have a passion to reach people in Guatemala who are living in difficult situations and poverty. Opportunities we will have include: medical clinics, building projects and ministering to the practical and spiritual needs of people living in remote villages. This is a moderate-level mission trip designed for those who have some ministry experience and a passion for sharing God's love with others. Foundations Dinner: Monday, September 29 The Foundations Dinner offers you an opportunity to spend an evening with our pastoral staff over a nice dinner as we explore some of the awesome things contained in the Bible. Join us as we discuss and discover what it means to be a Christian and truly follow after Jesus. The dinner will start at 6:00 pm. |
