Hillside Highlights

Missions Sunday with the Gamradts: Sunday July 25
Kevin & Maureen Gamradt are former members of Hillside Church who felt God lead them to move to Galway, Ireland two years ago and help with troubled youth there. They are one of the Global Project Partners we support as a church and will be sharing for a few minutes during the service. After the service, you are invited to join them for a wonderful fundraiser lunch at Dubh Linn Pub in Downtown Duluth to hear more about what they are up to and participate in a silent auction to support their ministry. Please register on the blue connection sheet. 

Hillside Church Community Picnic, Sunday August 15
Join us after the worship service at Lester River Park for a picnic, fun family activities and a baptism service. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages; so bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share and come to celebrate with your Hillside family!  Sign up to let us know you’re coming to the picnic on your blue connection sheet or call the church office. 

Baptism & Baby Dedication Ceremony, Sunday August 15
If you have started a personal relationship with Jesus and have not yet been baptized, we encourage you to take this opportunity to outwardly express the inward change that has taken place in your life. Sign up on the connection sheet to participate.

Also, you can sign up on the connection sheet if you wish to participate in the baby/child dedication. By this action, the parents affirm that they recognize that their baby is a gift from God, they entrust their little one into His will and they commit to raising their child in His ways.

Venues and Discipleship

Pre-Service Prayer: Every Sunday at 10 am
The pre-service prayer time is an integral part of ministry at Hillside Church, especially focusing on Sunday mornings. We gather to pray for the Sunday service, our church community and the city. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear what God has in store for us and those around us! All are welcome and all leaders are strongly encouraged to attend.
