One of our main goals at Hillside Church is to help make the world a better place. We’ve selected a few key areas and work in partnership with people and organizations that are making an impact. As a church, we contribute to them financially each month, as well as serving along side them as we are able.

Anti-Human Trafficking :: A Beautiful Rescue
As a church, we have helped to pioneer the effort in Duluth to fight human and sex trafficking locally. We partner with A Beautiful Rescue who’s mission is to raise awareness of this evil and collaborate with various organizations and people in order to practically address the issues and serve the victims. www.abeautifulrescue.com

Local Poverty :: Union Gospel Mission
“The Mission,” our next door neighbor, offers free meals and provides shelter to a large number of destitute and low income people daily. They look to serve the practical needs of people, some in desperate situations, and help infuse their life with hope. Consider joining us as we serve a meal there the first Thursday of each month!

Local Homeless Community :: CHUM (Churches United In Ministry) Center
The CHUM provides core social safety net programs which include emergency food, shelter, advocacy and outreach to over 7,000 hungry, homeless and low-income people each year in Duluth. The CHUM is a place for folks to get off the street and find resources and assistance with solving problems related to poverty and homelessness.
