Life Group Start Up Parties

You’re invited to join one of our winter Life Groups! Life Group is a place you can go every week to grow in a relationship with God, have fun and meet new friends. Hang out at our start up party after the service on today & January 29 to find a group that works for you. Try one this winter!

Exploring Membership Workshop

Join us for a lunch on Sunday, February 12, from 12:30 to 2 pm where we will explore the incredible benefits of membership in our church community. This workshop will give you an opportunity to hear about the history, beliefs and vision of Hillside Church as well as how you can become a greater part of the church community. 

Men’s Retreat

This is for every man – the young & the veterans; singles, marrieds & dads; the bearded & clean-shaven; creative, outdoorsmen and businessmen. It is about becoming better, stronger men by experiencing more of God and his power in our lives. Take a night to hang with the other men from church on Friday & Saturday February 17 & 18 at an awesome location, with great food (and plenty of it!). We will have plenty of free time to kick back or get outside in addition to two inspiring sessions together. The cost is $65 and covers lodging, 3 great meals, snacks & activities (snowshoes, CC skis, ropes course or climbing wall). Register at the Information Center.

Seek

Seek begins Monday, January 30th,and will continue weekly in the evening through Monday, April 2nd. Seek is a 10 week exploration of faith and Jesus, consisting of short messages followed by informal small-group discussion. The series is designed for those who are not currently participating in a church community but are wondering what role faith might play in life, curious about how Jesus fits in to a life of faith, definitely interested in a life of faith but brand new to it, or interested in the idea of prayer or communication with God but unsure how to pursue it. Emphasis in the group will be on the practical aspects of faith and experience with God, with ample opportunity to ask questions. Several members of Hillside Church will be facilitating the upcoming series, and now is the time to inform and invite friends, family, coworkers, etc who may be interested.
